PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Men's and Women's Basketball conclude their regular home seasons as they host Coppin State University (CSU) on Senior Day in the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. The Lady Hawks (17-10, 10-4 MEAC) enter tonight's game having won three consecutive games, including a 64-41 decision over Bethune-Cookman on Monday. With the victory UMES matched a school record for wins in a season. Four players finished in double digit scoring as April McBride led all scorers with 14 points. Tiffany Reid and Casey Morton finished with 12 points apiece, while Parker added 10 points. With the win UMES remained in a three-way tie with Morgan State and Delaware State for third place in the MEAC. CSU (17-11, 11-3 MEAC) enters the game as winners of their last six after defeating Howard 101-57 on Monday. The Eagles have not lost since UMES defeated them at home 69-62 on February 4. They are led by Shalamar Oakley and Rashida Suber with 17.9 and 17.4 points per game respectively. The two combined for 42 points in the first meeting. McBride and Morton led the Lady Hawks with 18 points each in the first win. McBride also recorded a game-high 16 rebounds. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Listen live to today's broadcast.

Ed Tyson led UMES with a team-high 18 points, while Gary Lee added 14 points to go along with career-highs of nine rebounds and three steals. Ishmawiyl McFadden finished with 11 points and a career-high eight rebounds.
CSU (11-19, 6-8 MEAC) comes in on a seven game winning streak, including a 68-45 win over Howard on Monday. The Eagles started their streak with a 59-54 win over UMES. Tywain McKee leads the offensive attack with 15.3 points per game. McKee recorded 14 points in the first meeting between the teams. Tyson led all scorers with 30 points in the first loss to CSU.
