         <description><![CDATA[The 2008 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Baseball Tournament could have turned out better for the Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). Honestly, the whole season could have turned out better, but with such a young team, Head Coach Will Gardner knew it was a year for his freshmen and transfers to get used to DI baseball. After all, the Hawks only had two seniors. Both of those have been four year letter-winners for the program and contributed greatly. One however, went out with a bang, as Ken Richardson earned an All-Tournament selection at the MEAC Championship, a fitting way to cap a career.]]></description>
